Why I Built LeadLog

I run GBA Solutions, where we build software for small and medium-sized businesses. One of our products, SmartChef, takes us to trade shows and exhibitions throughout the year.

And trade shows are where I discovered the problem.

You have a great conversation at your booth. You swap business cards. You move on to the next person. By the time you get back to the office, you have a pile of cards and half-remembered details. Who was the person who wanted the demo? Which one had the urgent deadline? It all blurs together.

I looked at the lead capture tools on the market. They were either too complicated - built for enterprise teams with features I'd never use - or too expensive for a small business doing a handful of shows a year.

So I built it.

Here's the thing about trade shows: most people don't do them every month. You might do two, three, four a year. So why should you pay every month for lead capture software you're not using?

With LeadLog, you pay for the months you use it. Between events, you can still access all your data - you just can't add new leads. When your next show comes around, reactivate and you're ready to go.
